is thankful for her two super powers. One: the ability to always produce a research paper which passes for coherent with minimal effort. and two: the ability to escape reality by falling asleep when ever, where ever and for abnormal amounts of time. |

i love how cbc 2 pretty much plays you forgot it in people by broken social scene once a day, sometimes the whole album like they are doing right now.

made it home just in time for the weekly "sad off" on the Strambos show on CBC 2. (my absolute favorite show of the week)
tonights contestants are Paranoid Android by Radiohead.
and
Youve Got to Hide your Love Away by The Beatles.
wow. both are so sad.
but paranoid android has always had a special role in my life as an ultimate sad song. I put it on a CD with the sneaker pimps, placebo and some other sad radiohead songs at gretchens house once, and that spare computer bedroom is where i spent many sad nights on AIM or obsessively calling someone like an insane person.
also i forgot how easily distracted i can get. |

theres this older asian man at caribou every night and today he asked if he could share my table and ive always been curious about him because he seems to be making collages every night but what hes really doing is reading multiple newspapers and magazines and marking pages and making some kind of drawings that have the layout of illuminated manuscripts....
he listens to opera on a portable cd player and told me to have a good night...... |

yesterday i got my horoscope from the real detroit and it was eerily accurate.
they usually are but this one was just dead on with my concerns in life made so much sense.
last weekend went to see alice cooper, drank at some weird bar called dooleys across from work with wes and sarah.
went to a billiards bar, good egg rolls and erotic photot hunt
went to the cider mill and then sarah and i made us all dinner.
went on an italian food date, that was cute.
tonight is evvy thursday so i am looking forward to 1$ PBR. |
